* Retaque put for download their songs from (still unreleased?) split with Demasiados Enemigos. Download @rapidshare. Stream @reverbnation (here also 3 new The Oppressed covers)

* New release: Hors Controle/Bullshit detector split 10"

* Documentary - Resistencia: Hip-Hop in Colombia
It's hip-hop but not that kinder maxi king style. In fact it's not too much about hip-hop itself.. English subtitles.

"... a thought-provoking exploration of how young Colombians feel about the crisis afflicting their country. The film follows a summer in the lives of some of Colombia’s finest rappers, DJs and breakdancers. The film serves as an introduction to Colombia’s 40-year-old civil war, as seen through the eyes of those directly affected by it. It also gives an intimate insight into life in the barrios of a very volatile country, and how traditional Latino music is losing out to rap music. Entertaining, committed and enlightening, "Resistencia" offers a street level interpretation of current affairs in Colombia."

Razzapparte - Tuscia Oi!

Razzapparte just released new MCD "Tuscia Oi!" to celebrate their 15 years of existence. It includes 5 tracks - combination of Oi! and traditional music of Tuscia. This MCD you can order directly from the band (PayPal available) or at Anfibio rec. The price is 9€ with postage included. One song from this record - La Marroca - is available at youtube.
EDIT:
Anfibio rec. now finally accepts paypal payments too...

I also updated the Music folder - added some record from Mancha Negra. But not sure what it is. 22 tracks, none of them was included on their other release "Punk rock operairo 1994-2004". Could be mix of songs from their demos, that didn't get to that comp.

And one documentary "Circle: Portrait of a Demonstration" - on the attempted neo-Nazi pogrom at Janov (in czech republic, 2008). But not sure how far it can be interesting for foreiginers, especially if you don't have any other info about it.. You can read short summary in english here. Watch online or download at Doc alliance films. With english subtitles.

Obchod na korze (1965) (AKA "The Shop on Main Street")
(with EN and ESP subs)

"An inept Slovakian peasant is torn between greed and guilt when the Nazi-backed bosses of his town appoint him "Aryan controller" of an old Jewish widow's button shop. Humor and tragedy fuse in this scathing exploration of one cowardly man's complicity in the horrors of a totalitarian regime."

|And The Rest|

The last year was shitty and at its end it became totally shitty. Almost only thing that was good on it were some fine releases. And to make some summary, here is my top 10 of 2007 (punk) albums (which you can also find in my folder or in your distros).

1. Assalt 43 - Nuestro Camino
(I´m not sure if it is 2007 or 2006 but that doesn´t matter, it is simply the best)
2. Oi! Se Arma - Balas Perdidas
3. Agresion - Sin Piedad
4. Železná Kolóna - My sa trosiek nebojíme...
5. Non Servium - El Imperio Del Mal
6. Brigada Flores Magon - Tout Pour Tous
7. Wisdom In Chains - Class War
8. Esclaves Salariés - Ca Augure Mal
9. Intro5pect - Realpolitik!
10. S-Contro - King of Fools

And special rank for "Zasrali Solnce" and their song "Fashizm Ne Projdet!" (from album "Zakon Vne Zakona", great...)

Some fun at the end:

*John The Revelator
*Russian Army Oi!
*NY HxC

And if you still don´t know who makes our streets safer, here is the answer...

P.S. Updates of this blog are so sporadic, because shittyness of last year still continues, but I hope it can´t be eternal..
